FORMA is a publication about the appreciation and examination of a creative life. It began as a small collective in Chicago and has blossomed into a full publication to include features from New York, San Francisco, and Paris. The latest issue, 04, explores the passion and ethic that drives creativity. Features include: Scott Hansen/Tycho in San Francisco, Rural Studio in Alabama, Cupolette Foundry in Portland, Mazama Wares in Portland, The Meat Hook in Brooklyn, an exploration of how cities foster creativity, and how to fully savor and appreciate craft beer. FORMA’s view is that meaning is found, not in the straight line of achievement, but in the spiral of failure, discovery, and momentum.
